When the Musée d’Orsay was closed due to a strike (it is France after all 🙂 ), and the Louvre was closed because it was a Tuesday (aren’t all international renowned tourist attractions closed on Tuesdays?), and because we only had one day left to see anything in Paris before we were expected in Germany to begin our music tour, we opted for spending the next day at the Palace of Versailles. This visit was definitely one of the highlights of our trip. We were absolutely awestruck by Versailles magnificence. Here are a few photos of that magical place. Enjoy!
